Teams Meetings & Calling: value proposition
Microsoft Teams is the hub for teamwork in Microsoft 365, allowing everyone you work with to chat, meet, call, and collaborate all in one place, no matter where you are, all with enterprise-grade security.
In July 2019, Jared Spataro, corporate vice president for Microsoft 365, announced more than 13 million people now use Teams daily, and more than 19 million people use it weekly. He said Microsoft Teams is at the heart of Microsoft 365. Launched two before this, it is an integrated set of apps and services designed to help customers transform workplace collaboration, streamline business processes and protect critical information, Spataro wrote in a blog. Also, Teams users outnumber Slack users.
